Overview
When retired engineer Refik learns that he’s terminally ill, he gives his Syrian refugee carer, Nesrin, money to flee to Europe with her two boys. As he is preparing for the upcoming Eid to announce his diagnosis to his children, Nesrin vanishes, leaving the boys behind with Refik. He struggles to find the woman in İzmir, the city of hope.
