Biography

Robinson Alexander Nikolaus Reichel (born May 16, 1966, in Munich) is a German actor and voice-over artist. Robinson Reichel grew up in Munich as the son of the acting and theater-management couple Irmhild Wagner and Horst A. Reichel, and he appeared in front of the camera as early as infancy. Even during his school years, he acted in numerous television productions, including *Rappelkiste*, *Eichholz und Söhne*, and *Das verbotene Spiel*. After graduating from high school, he completed his acting training at the Zinner Studio in Munich and later pursued further professional development in Los Angeles, focusing on camera technique and acting methods. As an adult, Reichel established himself primarily in crime dramas and television productions, appearing regularly in series such as *Tatort*, *Polizeiruf 110*, *Der Alte*, *Ein Fall für zwei*, *SOKO München*, and *Balko*. He gained wider recognition for his role as Commissioner Michael Zorowski in the Berlin-based *Tatort* series, starring alongside Winfried Glatzeder. Among his most well-known film roles is the character Joe in *Der Schuh des Manitu*. Additionally, he appeared in films such as *Amen.*, *Das Jesus Video*, and *Der Seewolf*. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Reichel is also active as a voice-over artist. For instance, he provided the German voice for Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards—a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic—in the *Fantastic Four* films. Furthermore, he performed at *Theater44*, the private theater in Munich run by his parents. Reichel resides in Munich.
